Sheraz-Siddiq-Alyzeh-Gabol-Amna-Babar-in-Overload-Neray-Aa-2

Well we all are aware of what went between Meesha Shafi and Farhad Humayun of Overload and how Meesha Shafi got fired due to her pregnancy issues or may be the juggni / Dum Gutkoo issues, because of all the fame she got from coke studio performance she stopped giving much time to the band.

After firing Meesha Shafi, Farhad Humayun decided to play gamble! He decided to take over the lead vocals himself. I really loved what Overload came up with in start of 2011 that was “Batti”. Since then Overload has come up with the most pleasing… most… ahh I can’t come up with the right word for it… its just Awesome! You keep listening to their music over and over again!

Written by : Hannia Zia (A Levels Beaconhouse Defence Campus Lahore) exclusively for PakEnt.Net.

Ali Moeen Nawazish, a name that’s become famous all over Pakistan. Some people praise him, others curse him but

Ali Moeen Nawazish - Guy with 22-A's

everyone’s impressed. Currently studying in Cambridge University, this is the guy who attempted 23 A-level papers (and you had trouble handling 3? Shame on you!!) and got 22 straight A’s. If you’re hearing this for the first time, I’m sure your going, “Whoa. What was he thinking?”

Tere Bin Laden (Music Review)

EXPECTATIONS

Ok, so Tere Bin Laden appears to be quite a funny film. However, does that equate to the fact that one can expect some fabulous music coming out of the film as well? One isn’t quite sure because the film doesn’t quite follow the conventional path. One does expect a quirky score though but as has been seen in the past, such music can go either ways. With mixed expectations, one plays on Tere Bin Laden which has Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy scoring for half the album with Abhijit Vaghani, Dhruv Dhalla and Ali Zafar as guest composers. Jaideep Sahni is the prime lyricist.
