Aunty Disco Project [ADP
Aunty Disco Project aka ADP! A rock band from karachi formed by Omar Bilal in 2006 along with following band members..
- Imran Lodhi on bass.
- Khawar Khan on guitars.
- Yasir Qureshi on darbuka.
- Omar Khalid on drums.
The band quickly became popular in the underground scene due to their high energy levels and rocking acts, and the best thing about them was that they performed orignals with ease and dedication. The band participated in IBA battle of the bands and Won by beating 22 other bands. O.O
Their rock mixed with middle eastern touch became realy famous and soon their name was every where. They were HAPPENING, Every other concert, gigs at local cafes. Then came a time when only four members of the band were left Khawar Khan decided to take a walk. But ADP dint stop there.. it just kept growing and growing and in the same year they started recording their Debut Album “The Aunty Disco Project”. Writen and composed by the band itself.
The following year ADP got the break through they awaited. They started performing along mainstream acts such as Mauj, Sajid and Zeeshan and Mizraab. The band was soon able to release their album. ADP got huge succes when they recorded Sultanat for Coke Studio season three. So far band has released 4 videos from their album. Those are..

The band kept kept falling apart but new members kept coming in at present the band consists of 5 members Omar Bilal, Yasir Qureshi, Ali Alam, Rahail Siddique and Giles Goveas.
So something about the new Video “Hum Na Rahey (Mere Masoom Dost)”. Written and Composed by Ali Alam and also Featuring Ali Alam on vocals officialy on a video for first time. Their last single came out exactly a year ago. I bet this is a new year cum christmas gift for us 
Im in love with this track and the video too. I asked some of my mates about the video. Some called in influential while some called it motivating and some described it to have that fresh mint taste in it! Something that really wakes us up, that cheers us up.
The video is themed about friendship. Directed by Bilal Khan & Shayan Agha. A group of friends (ADP) and a panda actualy. Panda is the innocent one in the group who keeps getting bullied and all xD panda is cute though. I like the part when they are jamming and there is a sign at the back which says “don’t feed the Panda” ahha that was funny. One day panda gets so disappointed and anoyed that he leaves them behind and decides to take a different path. That’s when his friends realise how important Panda is to them. At the end ADP is performing at a club and Panda appears out of the dark and his friends go crazy and they are happy to have him back xD . Its actualy a very true story that happens in every group of friends im glad they were able to bring it out for us. The true essence of friendship. No matter where you are what ever you do your friends will always miss you! The video hit almost 3400 views in last 30hours or so! Ali Noor (Noori) shared the video on his facebook page and called it Best Video Of 2010, also Ali Zafar shared this video on his facebook page.
