Akcent in Lahore - 4th December, 2010

A charity concert was arranged by Verve in Partnership with Nauman Mansoor! Bringing Akcent along with Dj Barrister,Dj Pope, Annie Khalid(guest appearance) and CARAMEL. Tickets were easily available around the city.. the event was promoted in a very decent and catchy way.. using media and internet .. along with posters around the city.
Ticketing was divided into three catogaries. 3000rs being cheapest, followed by a 10000rs and then VIP 40000rs.. and then the gigantic VVIP1lakh (O.O).. Just 4 VVIP tickets(costing 4 lakh) were sold to a family! There was quiet some crowd at the venue around 3000 people. People did face difficulties finding the venue and then parking their cars..

Dj Barrister opened the show with his awesome beats. Annie Khalids two song performance ended around midnight..And then the moment which everyone had been waiting for.. AKCENT! Akcent came to stage and started out with there veryfamous song That’s My Name. Crowd just went crazyy, Girls Screaming Guys Hooting! It was quiet a site .. they performed for around 90mins .. 8 songs.. the crowd was still craving for more at the end.. ONCE MORE ONCE MORE that’s all you could hear at the end.. So Akcent decided to perform One Last song for the crowd!

That ended Akcents performance. But the party was just not over yet.. Adnan Sarwars band called Caramel showed up.. along with Kiran Choudhry and Sanam Saeed at vocals and Adnan Sarwar himself on leads! I must say their performance turned out to be way better than i thought it would. Im a fan now! They did rock the party! Their performance was followed by some addictive beats by Dj Pope.. dance party was just siickishly awesome He Did send us into a crazybody shaking foot thumping frenzy..

It was indeed The Best Party i’ve ever been to! That sadly ended the party around 4 in the morning. Everything was just great.. from security to food and drink .. Im realy looking forward to such great events in lahore! Thumbs up* to the management Great Job!
